Frances Saalfield is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), offering support to adults in the state of Wyoming. For almost a decade, Frances has been working with individuals striving towards personal growth in mental health settings. She has gained experience through the years working in a traditional outpatient therapy setting as well as residential treatment centers, a wilderness treatment program, and a community corrections facility. Frances earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Prescott College and later attended University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work where she earned her Master’s in Social Work with a focus in Clinical Mental Health.
Frances believes every individual has the ability to create positive and lasting change in themselves and their relationships. Her therapeutic approach is strengths based, compassionate, and client-centered allowing clients the space to create change and live lives that feel more fulfilling to them.
Frances has experience in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions and stressors, identity issues, body image issues, compulsive eating, relational issues, and family of origin issues. Frances is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other evidence-based treatments such as Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
